Laura Linney's portrayal of vulnerable but strong characters has made her one of the most popular American actors. After spending the summers at the company of her father Laura Linney fell in love by theatre. Later she attended Brown University she studied acting and also at Juilliard School, after which she began her acting career. In just two short years after graduation she began her Broadway-based career. In the following year, she made her debut in TV and film. Since then, she has performed in many films and stage and TV productions. During her career she received several awards, among them two Golden Globe Awards. In spite of all the awards she has received the theatre is still her primary passion and she continues to perform both in stage and screen.
