Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp has been a Canadian actress for many years. Her name is well-known due to the roles she played in television and films. Her fan base is large both on American and Canadian TV. Emily began acting at the age of 12 after visiting her older sister Katie in one of Katie's movies. Emily began attending classes in acting, and then auditioning after realizing that she was passionate about acting. She began with some commercials and was soon cast as a child actor in the Canadian television show, Are You Fearful of the Darkness? The show had one episode where she was unable to talk. In the year 15 Emily got her first big break when she became a regular on the WB program Glory Days. Emily's performance in Glory Days, a show on WB which ended up being cancelled after nine episodes, attracted the attention and interest of Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Emily was a professional dancer, and also took up photography. Teen listed her as one top actress under 20. Maxim's Hot 100 2014 list ranked her as number 51.
